After leaving 96, Haggui played for VfB Stuttgart, Fortuna Düsseldorf, and FC St. Gallen, where he ended his playing career in 2018. Today, Haggui is 42 years old and still active in football. He attends 96 games once a year and has many friends and former teammates in the region. Haggui said about his time at Hannover: "I can clearly say that my time at 96 was the best of my career." He also mentioned that his first year was marked by the death of Robert Enke. After that, 96 finished fourth in the Bundesliga and played in the Europa League.
